The United Ryukyu Kempo Alliance is an organization that practices "OLD WAY
KARATE". Our organization believes that although there are many "styles" of Karate
that we all share the same DNA.
 The practice and understanding of kata motion and its bunkai are a road map to an
attitude of behavior that encourages life protection skills. The final effect of hard
work, dedication and perseverance is not reserved for the martial arts but can be
applied to all aspects of ones life. Its not winning that is valuable, its the skills
achieved from practicing. This is the way of the true practitioner.
The study and practice of kata is an exercise that promotes body movement that is
essential to life protection.
The Alliance has no prejudice nor will we discriminate against any style of karate or
its representatives. |

The 2007 United Ryuku Kemp Alliance Summer Camp was a resounding success!
It was a terrific opportunity to make new friends, strengthen bonds with existing
ones, and learn from literally hundreds of years of combined experience from
knowledgeable and friendly instructors.
