Standing up to Stalking Behaviors

The decision to stand up to a stalker or attacker of any kind is a difficult decision to make. When we see people being intimidated or hurt, it may be simple to say “I would just walk away” or “I wouldn’t put up with that”. If a teen does decide to protect themselves from an assault or attack, there is much more than the physical aspects of self-defense to consider.

Welcome Richardson Scott Shihan!

The Alliance would like to officially welcome Scott Richardson Shihan and his dojo to the Alliance. Richardson Shihan has a background in Ryukyu Kempo and currently hold a 4th degree ranking. He has known Rickard Shihan for several years and has similiar hopes and aspirations to those of us here at the Alliance. It is great to be able to find sincere martial artist who believe in the traditional concept of One heart, one mind and one spirit.

Welcome to Richardson Shihan, Congrats to Rickard Shihan for making an example for our Alliance that would attract instructors of this caliber to serve with us as ambassadors to the Bushido.

New Okinawa, Japan Dojo!
Depue Cameron Shihan

The Alliance has a new Dojo in Okinawa, Japan! Depue Shihan will be representing the United Ryukyu Kempo Alliance in Okinawa City. We are proud of Depue Shihan and his efforts.

Depue Shihan has always been a driving force in the Alliance. He started his studies in Warrensburg, Missouri at around 13 years old. He helped Lawson Renshi and Cole Shihan in the early development of Seibu Kan to evolve to the successful program that it is today.

Congratulations to Depue Shihan! We look forward to watching you grow.
